Erin Scantlebury

I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Central Tech in 2010, I attended Edinboro University for two years while pursuing a path toward becoming an RN. I realized that career path was not the right fit for me, so I chose to become a Medical Assistant through Great Lakes Institute of Technology. I graduated in 2016 with my certification and a 4.0 GPA. My clinical experience gave me exposure to several specialties, including Orthopedics, Limb Deficiency, Occupational Health, and Neurosurgery. Ready for a new challenge, I decided to transition from the medical field and explore a more encouraging career path. In April 2026, I joined the Hart, McConahy & Martz team, where I am learning & growing in the insurance industry. I currently hold a PA Property and Casualty insurance license.

 I am recently married as of 10/11/2025 to my husband, Alex. We have three beloved pets: Murphy, a long-haired German Shepherd; Oscar, a tuxedo cat; and our newly adopted creamy orange kitten, Franklin (Frankie). Murphy is especially close to my heart and is registered as my emotional support animal. Both of our cats were adopted—Oscar is from the ANNA Shelter and Frankie is from the Humane Society.

Outside the office and work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, dog, friends, and family. I love hosting cookouts, get-togethers, and parties where everyone can come together and have a good time. I also enjoy traveling, taking walks and hikes, and bringing Murphy to the beach or dog park whenever I can. I am a big fan of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel movies. I love quoting movies and shows that fit everyday moments, and I enjoy binge-watching a great series or documentary.
